Who in the Whatnow?: A Variety Show with Man on the Street DC
A Variety Show - Friday, February 22nd at 8:00pm at 9th & Beats [DC Convention Center]

Save $5 and order tickets now. $15 at door.

Combining standup, sketch, improv, gameshow, and generally foolish elements, “Who in the Whatnow?” is DC's most unique variety show series. Shows usually last about 90 minutes and are heavy on crowd participation, for which of course there are prizes from the infamous “Swag Box”. The show is hosted by comic/writer Greg Roth, of ManontheStreetDC.com.

The freewheeling, idiosyncratic nature of the format owes its inspiration to such successful enterprises as Un-Cabaret, the Super Serious Show, Comedy Bang Bang, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, the Paul F. Tompkins Show, The Gong Show, Albert Brooks appearances on The Tonight Show, and dozens of canceled shows that aired on Comedy Central.

Lineup for the Friday, February 22, 2013 show:

Will Hessler, Standup DC-based comic who's shared the stage with Andrew Dice Clay, Hal Sparks, TJ Miller, Todd Barry, and Doug Benson. He's also is the voice of "Brian" on "Astro-Cons", an animated web series launched at New York Comic Con 2012.

Both Sides of the Coin Lawyer/improvisors Emily Lamond and Juliet Mazer-Schmidt argue opposing sides of the day's hottest topics. And the audience decides who wins!

Meet The Audience Comedians Panel Standups David Carter, Dana Bell, and Jhiesson Nunez hasily size up audience volunteers, who in turn win a prize from the SWAG BOX.

Hollywood Pitch Funtime Live Podcast David Coulter, Asif Khan, and Ryan Schutt take audience suggestions and sling a new pitch in Hollywood's direction on behalf of their benefactors at Fumiko Corp.

Yelp Me Out Here Charles St. Charles delivers dramatic readings of DC's best Yelp reviews.

Jason Connell, Magician After growing up as part of a father-son magician act, Jason returns to the stage with some new “tricks” of his own. ("ILLUSIONS, Michael!")
